One-hundred and twenty-two students and youth workers from 7 church youth groups from Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan gathered in Berlin, Germany during soccer’s World Cup to partner with CrossWay International Church in several means of strategic outreach on the streets of Berlin. Our team distributed close to 4,000 Gospel tracts, over 5,000 flyers inviting people to the church’s services, close to 4,000 CD’s of the Gospel, and other literature items during their week of ministry in Germany. CrossWay Church, a ministry of Evangelical Baptist Missions, is an international church-plant in the heart of the American sector in downtown Berlin. This church is led by missionaries Steve & Becky Dye, Fritz & Lynette Good, and Kristi Walker. Vision For Youth personnel Mel Walker, Tim Ahlgrim, and Cheryl Fawcett led the team administratively for VFY. Also assisting them were 2 students from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania – Richard Rudolph & Julia DeGraaff.
